Hi, to change your theme, you can go to the Firefox settings (Click the triple bar on the top right to open application menu - Select 'Options') and click 'Extensions & Themes' on the bottom left. You can now restore to the default theme or choose your preferred theme. Thank you.

I followed Jia Yee's resolution but it doesn't work the menu bar remains light colored, that's not the way it was before the update.

If you prefer the colors of the "Default" theme from Firefox 57-88, someone created an add-on theme that emulates it. You can give it a try here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/photon-colors/

Why do they keep messing with things!!! I like the old theme better. Thanks to jscher2000 for posting one that is similar.

This is asinine. Why would you change the interface and not provide people the option to opt out of it? Or at least restore all the work they previously invested in designing their experience? The whole point of theme customization is for people to set up their experience with the product the way they work. Then you change the things and not make it easy to restore at least the look and layout they are accustomed to. What absolute insanity. Your problem is not with your product it is with your relationship with your users. You officially suck today!

I totally agree with the previous comments. The default theme before upgrade to v 89 was great for me and has been the same for many years. Now I am unable to find that again. The choice of themes is now either too dark, too light, or too busy. Surely there must be some way to go back to what I had before! Very disappointing!

I've been using Windows 10 in recent years, and if you wanted to match the colors of the Default theme, https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/photon-colors/ is close. Was yours a very different shade of blue?

Not only did the upgrade change the THEME but it also did something else which I can't pin point; but I spent a couple of hours trying to log into my bank because of something in the upgrade. I never had this problem before from any other upgrade. But I kept going back to a login screen when I tried to access that page. My password program didn't seem to work.

Has that been resolved? If not, do you want to start a new question:

Just to be clear: this is a bug. I have the same issue. It's already on bugzilla:

bug 1714460

I found Firefox B is fine for me, in fact I kinda like it. I might even keep it.

Thanks to the people who mentioned the "Photon colors" add-on theme.

But it's still not exactly like the old default theme. For example, my Bookmarks tab still has spacing between entries that was not there before. I hate the way it looks now, and finding bookmarks now requires more effort.

Maybe that's not related to Themes, but I would still like Bookmarks to be restored to the way they were before, with no spacing between entries.

The original theme and style needs to be brought back as an option in the Themes tab in a future upgrade to Firefox.

Please!

Hi everyone, It doesn't look like the person who posted the original question is going to respond, and others seem to be using this thread for there own issues, so I'm going to lock this thread.
