When I mistakenly delete a tab I would like to me able to restore it. If it does not already exist, it could be added to the Firefox menu. When I have many tabs open, sometimes I would like to open yet another tab and I mistakenly delete the last tab rather than clicking on +. This might be because the + is not bright white and seems a bit gray, or because I have so many tabs open the delete sign X does not appear.

Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+T or open the Menu Bar (right click near but not On the navigation bar, select "Menu Bar" or press Alt to have the menu bar show up). Click History, then Recently Closed Tabs.

Clicking on View History worked. Thank you. It took me a while to find it, though. I left clicked on View History.

Oh I see. Yeah "View" and "History" are two different things altogether.
