I recently switched to Firefox on both my windows laptop and my Samsung phone only for the sync technology it has established. Before moving to Firefox, I was using chrome and edge alternatively. And both of these browsers had an option to use a website as an app. In chrome its simply to click on the 3 dots in the right, more tools, and then create shortcut. It was possible in edge too, since it was based on the chromium engine. But I do not see any such option in Firefox. I do acknowledge that Firefox is not based on the chromium engine. However, I would love to see an option like that. Thank you for your time.

Support for SiteSpecificBrowser and Progressive Web Apps has been removed in Firefox 86 (bug 1682593), so it is no longer possible to use this feature in Firefox.
