I cannot remember the name of the add on but it had the name Google in it.

It got added somehow along with other programs which I deleted when I was looking for help online to save youtube videos.

The program I was using was called Youtube Downloader which I will never use again for obvious reasons after all my stress yesterday.

Forgive my slow reply but more stress..my phone and internet has been out all day.

If you can ever work out what the add on was from trying to use Youtube Downloader, please let me know.

Many thanks,

Can you tell us the name of that add-on, and where you think it came from?

Thank you so much for your guidance.

With the help of a good friend I started Firefox in safe mode and was able to see the add ons. I removed the one that got added yesterday (automatically..not by me) and now everything works.

Again, I am so grateful to you for your help.
