clicks register incorrectly immediately after scrolling

This happens on tvlistings.zap2it.com especially, using the TV listings there, and I think sometimes on other sites, though I don't recall another example right now.

If I scroll through the listings, and don't wait a full fifteen seconds before clicking on something, it more often than not registers as though I clicked an item closer to the spot from which I scrolled. Even if the listings have definitely visibly stopped scrolling. If I don't wait, then what I see is not what I get. It is frustrating.

Any fix?

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
