Thunderbird 81.0b4 (32 bit) crashes every time I try to print an email. If I can no longer print e-mails for personal and business purposes I will have to switch back to Outlook, which I decided to stop using more than 10 years ago because it was so unstable.

Could you add the crash id/number here? https://support.mozilla.org/kb/thunderbird-crashes

How does this reply solve my problem. Every email I tried to print Thunderbird still crashes. I do not understand "I am guessing this is fixed in 82". Is this an instruction to wait for version 82? If so when will it be out?

I still can not print emails from Thunderbird, therefore the problem can not be "fixed". Furthermore I do not understand how "I am guessing this is fixed in 82" can be a solution because every solution requires one to follow a number of steps. No steps have been suggested or offered. Out of desperation, and at considerable cost, I have bought a perpetual licence for Office 365 just so that I can get my hands on Outlook so that I can at least print my important emails in the mean time.

You are on beta channels (I see you have TB 81.0 which is "beta") - and this mean you get the latest version faster, but in the same time also you get the new bugs sadly https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-beta

If you stay on the release channel (which are available on TB home-page) then this issue should not appear. If you want now you may downgrade to v78 (which is on release channel). You might need to start Thunderbird version v78 though with a specific command -p --allow-downgrade
