Does FF have a horizontal left-right scroll key or key combo for really wide pages?

Hi All

some pages like this one are wide enough to have a horizontal left/right scroll bar.

If I'm lucky, when I want scroll left or right, the cursor is on a piece of HTML where it can move when I use the left or right arrow keys. However often, the cursor isn't available or the right place.

Is there a key or key combo where I can shift the web page left or right in the FF window? I often find it difficult to use the horizontal scrollbar with the mouse.

The Left and Right arrow keys (the four arrow keys, that also include Up and Down keys) work for me to slide the extra wide window sideways. I did have to push & hold the first time for Firefox to 'recognize' what I was doing, or perhaps the page was still loading when I tried using that key set.

I am on Win7, but iirc pages like that worked for me the same on Linux when I used that OS in the past.

If your mouse has a wheel, holding down Shift while rolling the wheel usually switches it from vertical scrolling to horizontal scrolling. (mousewheel.with_shift.action=4 on Windows and Linux)

I don't know why FF wasn't doing that before - I think it must have been something strange with the website I was looking at, or perhaps even my computer.

It scroll right now anyway. Thanks.
