Firefox will not open
I received an error message warning of suspected malware when attempting to update a Firefox password using Dashlane and chose the block option. Now whenever I try to open Firefox I get this message:
The application “Firefox” can’t be opened.
I have tried reinstalling Firefox but it doesn't work. I do not know which app sent the original message, since I did not have Norton app blocking activated.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently.
If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Hi becket.mcgrath, I think it might be a system-level block. Could you check whether the "Security & Privacy" settings panel mentions anything about this:

Neither of these worked. For Arman: Are those menu commands for Firefox? If so, that won't work, as I can't open Firefox...

Thanks. Nothing came up on malware scans but deleting and creating a new profile fixed it.
That was very good work. Well Done.
