Don't see all server settings on Thunderbird 68.6.0 32 bit - don't see "leave copy on server"

No further details. Using Thunderbird 32 bit ver 68.6.0 on Windows 10. Don't see a choice under server settings to leave a copy of emails on the server, which I really need to do. I followed the correct path to server settings, but the choice just isn't there. I'm not a techie, but am pretty knowledgeable. What could be the problem? This is a fairly new install of TBird on a new computer. Everything else seems to be working fine. Computer is a 64 bit HP laptop.

That setting only applies to POP accounts, not IMAP. At the top of Server Settings note the Server Type.

If you change the server type, the account must be added again:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Convert_a_POP_account_to_a_IMAP_account

With an IMAP setup, mail is stored on the mail server, making it easier to sync mail between multiple devices.
