Why does all of a sudden a request window appear where I am requested to accept OneTrust conditions at each search ? There is no alternative in that window NOT to accept their conditions. How do I get rid of OneTrust ?

Hi Roland,

I suspect that it might be included with Norton Safe Search. When you use Norton Safe Search they are obliged to inform you that they are tracking your cookies. As with many other websites, they choose to inform you of their cookie tracking via a small banner at the bottom of your screen.

You could try using another search engine, like google or duckduckgo, to see if the same OneTrust banner still pops up when you search for something. If it does not, then my suspicion that the OneTrust banner is related to Norton Safe Search might be correct.

If you would like to know more about cookies you can read about them here: Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer

Sincerely, -Tommy
