Google Docs Download Fail (since last Firefox update)
When trying to download my files from Google Docs I get the following errors:
"The page isn’t redirecting properly" "An error occurred during a connection to doc-0k-38-docs.googleusercontent.com".
This only happens in Firefox. IE and Chrome download files just fine.
I have done the following with no change in this symptom: - Cleared Data (cookies and cache) - Set Enhanced Tracking Protection to OFF - Changed Browser Privacy to Custom with all options unchecked - Unchecked "Block pop-up windows" - Added Permission Exclusions for Pop-ups and Cookies - Run Firefox in Safe Mode
None of the steps above either together or alone changed the error message.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

This is the third question about this issue that I've seen.
You get this error when a redirect fails for some reason and you end up on the same URL instead of going to the location where the actual file is located.
I'm not using Google Docs, so I can't check how this works in Firefox 74.0.
How do you see this request in the Network Monitor?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.

<Solved> Google apparently has resolved this issue on their end because despite not being able to change the symptom with any of the suggested fixes, Google Drive downloads worked fine the next day. Thanks to cor-el for his input!
