This version is just junk!!!!! Just set the preferences and sign in Firefox and all other accounts like Gmail etc. Trying to save the history and all the passwords and everything you got. That's all gone when you shut Firefox down. When you reopen none of your history or passwords are there or you start from scratch. This is absolutely ridiculous. This version should never been released absolute disgrace. It doesn't deserve to be called a browser. I'm so disgusted and angry I can't put it in words.

It is so bad when I try to get into accounts like Gmail it sees a different computer every time I log in. For security they have to phone me every time I reopen Firefox to to get into my account. I have to verify who I am!!!! Every single time that includes my banking online!!!!!

Are you actually "installing Firefox"? Or just running Firefox from the DMG?

First Firefox Installed on this laptop. What is DMG?
This can happen if you haven't installed Firefox properly. In that case Firefox will create a new profile each time you start Firefox and you do not keep settings. You may want to check this out and cleanup these older profile folder once you have installed Firefox properly.
Open the Firefox installer Disk Image file and drag the Firefox application to the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the Disk Image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
