Where do I find the "Attachment" Panel. I clicked on the menu and found Attachements but I am not sure that is the panel that is described for filelink configur

In the past I have used file link to send emails with large attachment. But recently I received to option to use it when i had a large one. I read information about configuring File Link and try to do that. When I clicked on the menu icon, I did get an Attachment something but when I clicked that nothing happened. There was no Outgoing Tab provided. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

You should see a window like the attached picture. If you don't, try safe mode (hold Shift when you launch TB).

I did learn something about safe mode and I did that OK. Thank you for that. I am a bit slow here. I see no window like you described. I know not where to look for it. Can you tell where to find it.

I am also trying to learn how to use this support facility. I am slow at times. Thunderbird is so great I have little need for support, however when I do I have to relearn how to use this great facility. Please be patient with me. Thanks.

Select Tools/Options or click the 3-bar AppMenu in the upper right, Options/Options. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with Tools is hidden. Then in the Attachments section select the Outgoing tab to see the picture I posted. That is where you configure Filelink.

Thanks for the nice clear reply, however as of now, it has not fixed things. I find the Attachment "section" ? however when I click that or try to edit or anything else, I get no "Outgoing Tab" so I can go no further.

Sorry, to be so dense, but what could I be doing wrong. I am going try to "addd Image" (really attach a screen shot) so we will see if that helps.

I am not sure I did that right, but it does look like I uploaded an image. First I had to learn how to add an image.
