Saved email opened in new tab won't stay in new tabs upon opening

Before the last to editions, reading an important email, I could go to 'More' drop down, and use Open in New Tab. As long as I didn't delete the email, it would be in a tab at the top every time I opened TB. Not anymore. Suggestions? Thanks

Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder to open the profile folder, close TB, rename or delete session.json. TB should now open with the same tabs that were open at last exit.

Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder to open the profile folder, close TB, rename or delete session.json. TB should now open with the same tabs that were open at last exit.

Thank you. Seems to have worked. After doing this it closed Calendar but upon restoring that and using a couple of emails opened in new tabs they all opened successfully upon restart.

Having the same problem. When I open the TB profile folder there are 2 session.json folders and 1 sessionCheckpoints.json folder. Am I to delete them all? delete only the latest date from 1/5/20 which is about when the problem began?

Delete or rename the session.json files, while TB is closed. You can leave the sessionCheckpoints.json file as is.
