How can I entirely disable/get rid off the Touch Bar controls for MacBook Pro?

FireFox comes with inbuilt touch bar support for MacBooks. However, since I frequently hit the "reload page" or "back" buttons I'd like to get rid off it. Is there an option to disable it entirely?

Hi Daniel,

I'm not on Mac, but I think that it's controlled by the ui.touchbar.layout preference in about:config. You can just leave the pref empty to remove everything from the touchbar.

Hi TyDraniu, many thanks for your response. Unfortunately it seems like this property was removed by Harry Twyford as it's no longer available in my config :-(

Yes! There indeed was a button to customise the touch bar and I could simply remove all buttons from it!

Thanks for providing a solution to this issue!
