Norton Security wants to install 'Safe Web/Antiphishing'

Norton Security wants to install 'Safe Web/Antiphishing' Is it safe and will it slow down my PC? I am on Windows 7 Pro with Firefox 67.0.4. I have use Norton for years and it has stopped me from getting to hijacked sites on several occasions. I did see a post here about Norton Safe Web on Windows 10 where they recommended Windows Defender and Maiwarebytes. I thought Malwarebytes was sort of adware itself like many of the programs downloaded from CNET, etc.

Hi MikeZZ, I've used Norton Safe Web. It is safe to use but, it didn't suit my taste. Try it out - it may be suitable to you.

Malwarebytes is the most respected anti-malware product on the market. As a matter of fact, Malwarebytes Premium is recognized by Windows as an anti-virus program and disables Windows Defender. And it is also recommended by Mozilla.

After more than a year and a half of testing, Malwarebytes offers a new extension available: Malwarebytes Browser Guard https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/malwarebytes/?src=search

Malwarebytes AdwCleaner https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1160 is also recommended by Mozilla.
