Temporary Extensions not work he file at moz-extension://ceb13d04-2561-4ec3-9c55-24fa6adf39b7/manifest.json is not readable. It may have been removed, moved, or file permissions may be preventing access.

Loading failed for the <script> with source “moz-extension://08d5f524-4730-47a6-86f7-ce36ed98acb1/background.js”.

on windows first i installed firefox  : release 68 and then i tried developer edition 70.0b1, same problem , search and lookup many documents and threads for many hours , nothing get help.

finally i tried move the file from a: to c: , it works!!!

but i still not clearly know what caused the problem. the driver a: is a ramdisk. windows work on it well. is FF not recognize driver a: or not for ramdisk? the resource about this not so much, i wrote here also hope to save times for somebody with same problem

Although it's generally considered poor practice to use the drive letters A or B for anything other than floppy drives, although most operating systems don't prohibit you from doing that. Some software may have issues if you do that, but Firefox is not one of those programs.

I tested using a USB drive with the letter A and it worked no problem when I loaded a temporary add-on on it. My guess is that Firefox doesn't have access to read the files on the drive that you are using.

You may need to adjust your file permissions for that folder in order for Firefox to be able to access the data.

Hope this helps.
