Unfortunately with a very old computer there is little you can do to troubleshoot. You can try a Firefox Refresh: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

I strongly suggest you purchase a new computer with a modern operating system, or install Linux. Windows XP is VERY insecure and if you are web browsing all your data is potentially at risk

Linux is a complete operating system, it would replace Windows XP. If you would like to use it, I find ubuntu is the most user friendly. https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop
