Firefox always freezing at random times

I have had this problem for at least 6 months now, I have not posted about it sooner because I didn't have the time and I thought it was a something that will be fixed after a couple updates.

I followed this: - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-hangs-or-not-responding

and I have: -

1) Created a new places database

2) Turned off hardware acceleration

3) Started firefox in safe mode and disabling all my addons

4) I have no duplicate session restore files

5) My proxy settings was set to use my System's proxy, which I didn't set up for my system. I then put it on 'No proxy'

All of the above did not stop the freezing. Here's more info based on the article: -

6) Freezes during YouTube videos so Flash videos are not the problem

7) It freezes within 10 minutes of starting Firefox. Sometimes less.

8) Doesn't specifically happen when I download or save files.

9) It doesn't hang when I quit it.

10) I don't use a Thinkpad.

Please help. Thanks.

6) Freezes during YouTube videos so Flash videos are not the problem

Youtube currently uses the HTML5 player.

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

I made asked a question similar to this one a while back, and you were the one who answered it, at that time restarting my computer in safe mode with networking solved it but only for a few days, maybe a week, then it started happening again.

I can safely rule out restarting my computer in safe mode with networking because it only serves as a temporary fix.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Any thing else I can do?

If an issue is solved by running Firefox in Safe Mode, then the problem is within the browser. If the problem is solved with the computer in Safe Mode, then its something about the computer. Bad memory, other programs . . . .

Maybe there are memory issues.

You can check the Firefox Task Manager (about:performance) and about:memory pages.

This might be the issue, my computer has been running slow lately. I tried using chrome but it doesn't hang/freeze, that's why I thought it was a Firefox problem.

I'll try making a new profile, and I attached a memory report to this reply.

Memory Report

EDIT: Creating a new profile yielded the same results. Thanks for the help anyways but I think it has something to do with my computer. Not sure what though. I will mark this as solved.
