Adblock is causing many problems on the net. I have websites where movies are played, but I first have to remove Adblock!! 1. I have tried to uninstall Firefox and install a new one. Failed 2. I installed Google Chrome Failed 3. I tried to watch the movies in Safe Mode. Failed 4. I am at a lost to what to do 5. Lastly the only thing I can do is a complete Reboot of my computer, but this is a last resort because it requires a lot of time to do this. So unless u can help me ... I don't know what to do. Please help me for I am severely handicap. Thank u for your time Kevin Dakin

The desktop Firefox web browser does not come with Adblock as you can remove the Adblock extension if you installed it in Firefox.

Or, a direct - Jump-To Link:

Direct Link to Remove Extensions.

Kevin, You might want to try the uBlock Origin Extension. It's very similar to AdBlock Plus, but more Memory-Friendlier.

These Blocking Extensions have an On/Off Button for a Per-Site control.

Hello Kevin,

You may not have to remove AdBlock at all, but merely disable it on certain sites. You can do this by clicking on the AdBlock icon on your toolbar, then on the blue button (you'll see what I mean once you've clicked on the AdBlock icon), and then you'll be asked to click on the Refresh button.

If you really want/need to remove AdBlock, you can follow the advice that's been given by "Pj" and "James" - and also see this article :
