Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file will only be present if you or other software has created this file and normally won't be present.

You can check its content with a text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

You can set your home page to anything you want. If you are having a problem, let us know.

How to set the home page

i do not want to et a home page i want to get rid of the home page i cannot get the google page

Hi please go to Google then also open anther tab Options So 1 tab is Google other is Options and go down to Homepage in Options and Click : Use Current Pages. Reload and you have now set your homepage as you requested to Google.

If you do not want anything as your homepage you can enter about:blank 2nd tab and Enter, then click Use Current Pages.

And from the New Tab you can go to the Top Right to the Gear Icon and Click that and turn off everything if so choose.
