I've looked for the whole searchers about why yahoo popping up as my default search engine I've tried remove the default and recommend search engine. to detect any ad-don/extensions or any hidden software that might somehow installed on my pc,couldn't find anything suspicious,I've ran a full scan on computer everything is clean,I've tried re-install the firefox and deleted all cache/history and information. I've tried to go to Help>profile>user and to delete the recommended files that might caused it still anything. If you can help me somehow I will be very happy,I'm using firefox for years and this is my first time it happened to me.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; (<Control> [Mac=<Command>] <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ yahoo “ Anything.

Also look for SafeSearch, SearchAssist Incognito, FileConverter Addon, SearchLock, DiscreteSearch, WebSearch, Findwide Search Engine

Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

There is no extensions of yahoo at all,or anything,I've added those addons you mentioned didn't help it still popping up everytime I type something on the address bar. not any suspicious software or anything that I'm not aware on my computer.

These are a list of hijack programs that need to be removed.

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Thanks for your help,I'm using kaspersky Anti-virus and I added the extension on my browser,I've also system mechanic on my computer. But it always have been on my computer without any problems on firefox. never changed any settings,I've checked the web-antivirus setting didn't see anything that could prevent blocking to save preferences.

any else suggestions?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

yes, yahoo search engine keep returning either computer on safe mod or firefox safe mod. but I've figured after I disabled the extension of kaspersky it let me search on google, but I need everytime to start firefox to go to option-preferences and delete yahoo,it never been on my computer like that, very weird.

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
