Does Refresh feature create the new profile in precisely the same location as the current profile (i.e. for me, NOT on the C Drive)?
I think my one-sentence query is clear enough. I don't want the profile buried in the C: drive.

If you previously used the Profile Manager to create a profile on another drive then a reset won't use that same location. A reset/refresh always creates the new profile in the default location and that is on the same drive (system drive C : AppData\Roaming and AppData\Local) where the profiles.ini file resides.
- main: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
- caches: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
You will have to use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and copy/transfer your personal data manually to this new profile.
What kind of issues do you have that you want to create a new profile?
