You have disabled my getmail icon. What is your alternative!!!!!?

I have used a get mail icon in my firefox bookmark toolbar for years. Now you have required a "valid signature" so it is effectively disabled. Okay - what alternatives do you offer instead??? I have looked and looked with no success. Please tell me what I can use to access thunderbird from my firefox browser.

Thanks.

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Flash Player Version: Version 26.0.0.151

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Direct link scans current system and browser Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only> +++++++++++++++++++ See if there are updates for your graphics drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

I appreciate the info and will take care of it, but it doesn't help me with the unusable icon.

Thanks, lonnic

Update flash. If the problem is still there, say so.

I think there might be other extensions that are more general purpose and let you create buttons to access the external programs of your choice. However, all extensions like this will stop working in Firefox 57 because access to the operating system and external programs is going to be locked down, beyond the reach of extensions.

Since you use Windows 7, what do you think about pinning the Thunderbird shortcut to your Windows Taskbar so it's easy to access from there?
