uninstall pdf converter
I tried it....haye it...and can not get rid of it. WHY? Call me, tell me how to get rid of this worthless tool on my computer ASAP

SO when does the answer show up? Or is Firefox as useless as Microsoft in getting a response. Or will I die waiting?

Is this an add-on in Firefox or software you have installed in Windows?
It was a windows update...I think. It does not appear in the Control panel to remove. BUT when I turn to a new tab, there it is. Annoying and useless. I have Vipre, and other protection and it did not "warn" me it was bad, so I tried it....DO NOT WANT IT Just can not find it to get rid of it
You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
