Hello,

i guess a lot of Thunderbird Users on Windows and Linux war asking themselves why there is no App Version for iOS or Android. I want to use the chance to ask and to express the wish of an Thunderbird App for iOS and Android.

The Thunderbird email client is only available for desktop Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.

The Thunderbird community has its hands full enough as is in getting desktop Thunderbird Releases out as they do not have resources to easily start development on a mobile version for Android and iOS also.

The iOS version of Firefox is a shell as it does not use the Gecko and rendering engines that the Android or desktop Firefox uses due to Apple's restrictions so for Thunderbird it would be similar if there was such a Thunderbird app made for iOS.
