Administative password required installing to Windows 7 64 bit

After several attempts at installing 45.2.0 ( Thunderbird ) I am stuck. After unpacking, I get a window with two choices, one is administrator requiring password which I entered. Install program just dumps me back to my desktop window. Tried it again not entering a password, just hit enter. Same thing. Tried using the other option for existing account, same thing. What is odd is that I am the administrator with all privileges.

Help would be appreciated as this is a first time issue like this.

I am guessing that no one else had come across this issue, or just haven't found a solution for it. Too bad as I was looking forward to trying this program out and was hoping to get away from Microsoft for e-mails and browsing both.

So, my search continues.
