I Just started my computer and all my Firefox bookmarks are gone... it's as if there's a new Firefox and I'm starting from scrach.

I did the floowing with no success: 

Select Bookmarks, and then click on Show all Bookmarks

Once the Library window has appeared, I clicked Import and Backup

From the drop down menu that has appeared, I selected restore and there as nothing there... there was a message saying "chhose file" and it broght my to Desktop.
