Message counter not showing on junk mail folder

The message counter show on all my mail folders Inbox / Sent / Drafts / Deleted but not on the Junk mail folder. Its is annoying because I have to open the folder to check for Junk mail. Is there a setting that I can change to make this counter show ?? TIA
