If I write an email with thunderbird on a mac and press the "attach" button, a new empty "favorite" entry is created in the mac finder.

The new entry under favorites on the top left is created exactly when I press the "attach" button in Thunderbird (version 45.0) on Mac OS X El Captain Version 10.11.4

This is very annoying because I have to manually delete all the empty favorite entries all the time.
