can't exit full screen for bookmarks window in Mac OSX 10.11

When Bookmarks window opens in Firefox in Mac OSX 10.11.x, it opens in full screen and can't be closed - moving cursor to top of screen, where Menu Bar is located, doesn't reveal Menu Bar nor the buttons in the upper left corner of window that control window size, etc.

Found another similar archived question about this that said to remove xulstore.json file, but searching Mac couldn't find such a file name, either complete or in segments of xulstore or .json.

Any idea if removing this file would work or where it's located?
