Changed to brand new PC. Need PW to send/rec TB email. help!

Very much an amateur but Thunderbird user for email for years. To my knowledge, I never had a password. Just upgraded to brand new computer and TB email won't send.receive without Password. Am simply stumped and would appreciate any help possible in getting a PW to enter. MTIA Jack Curry, Toronto.

All email accounts have passwords. Email passwords are administered with your email provider. You have to work with them to reset forgotten passwords.

That being said, you obviously told Thunderbird on your old computer to remember the passwords. Go to Tools-Options-Security-Passwords-Saved passwords and see what is there.
