Drafts are setting off new email alerts

New behavior over the last few weeks: my drafts keep prompting "new mail" alerts.

I get the same banner and sound that usually mean I'm getting something new. But the banner says it's from me, and it's pointing to a draft.

I don't know why this started, and I don't know how to stop it. Help please?

I'm running TB 38.5.1 on a newish Mac with up-to-date El Capitan.
