Yep, had the same issue. That is what you get when using bleeding edge software. There is after all no guarantee that daily builds with even start up.

I just reinstalled the build from the 8th http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/2015-10-08-03-02-23-comm-central/thunderbird-44.0a1.en-US.win32.installer.exe and will wait a couple of days to update again unless I learn something lore.

I have not had an update since Oct 8 When I do a manual update it tells me it is up to date There is usually an update nearly every day and it is now Oct 15 here in AussiLand
