For the last few days, when I select and delete an email, thunderbird automatically deletes that email and another one close to it in the list.

Thunderbird has also started to open emails in a new window instead of just letting me preview them as I used to. However, it doesn't do this all the time. Can anyone help troubleshoot this? Thanks!

There are only three answers I have seen that actually works. 1. You mouse is dying, get a new one. 2. Your mouse battery is dying, get a new one 3. Calibrate your mouse sensitivity in Windows control panel

The exception to that were lenovo laptops with a track-pad that needed new drivers.
