Sunday morning, bleary eyed, Thunderbird opened differently, couldn't even see the X to close it, everything looked messed up. I decided it would be easier to uninstall 38.2 and reinstall. Unfortunately, using Geek.exe, I also destroyed the Profile. I have used Recuva and another program, read dozens of Mozilla articles, Googled everything but how to wash the cat, but cannot find any of my e-mails from the last two years. I just want to ask, is that all gone forever? Or will a paid software recovery program find it? Plenty of paid programs say they can recover deleted e-mails, but after five days of searching myself, I'm beginning to doubt that. Any help, even funny comments, would be most welcome. Thank you.
