This problem is clearly a Firefox issue because these websites I am viewing ,when viewed with Chrome browser show the button and menu text in white so unless someone can insert a switch its not going to change, right?

My sincere thanks for your assistance. I needed to be put in the right direction and 'wiping the proverbial slate clean' after a decade of plugins and add ons' did the trick. I also found lots of other interesting items to add. I am so dependent upon Mozilla Firefox and even more so receiving your help. Cheers
