mail tab won't open

This is a recommended solution, no longer a current problem. Once mail is selected the circle timer spins for hours but Mail never opens. I tried some of the recommended solutions here but NONE worked. Finally I Uninstalled Firefox, rebooted and reinstalled Firefox. Now all works perfectly again.

Thank you for your post and am glad to see hear that you fixed your problem. Mozilla is full of people just like you that look for solutions, try them out and post them so that others can benefit from them.
