Will Thunderbird ever get a Windows 8/10 Live Tile?

I am using 3 different things now to do everything I want with mail, but if Thunderbird had a live tile for Windows 8/10, I wouldn't need to use anything else. So I am hoping/wondering if we'll ever get that functionality?
