Hi trustdiva, please send us your crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste that into the "Post a Reply" box. (Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the ID's. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)

Thank you.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Your crash report says;

Firefox 33.1 Mac OS

but your first post says; 34.0.5

When I look at About Firefox, that is what it says...

I'm in Safe Mode. I'll run like this for awhile before I tell you whether it helps. I might need to see if it crashes in the next day or so. Thanks!

You can check for corrupted and duplicate fonts and other font issues:

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Thanks. Cor-el. Where is the Profile Manager. No problem fonts- at least as far as I can tell.

Crashed again. However, it was a new start so I assume I wasn't in safe mode.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

Fred McD. Up in my posts, I have copied crash reports prior to this one today. Thanks

Thanks Fred McD. I have no idea what those are nor what to do about it. Can you offer some guidance. Thanks

Quote: Where is the Profile Manager.

You look at these knowledge base articles:

Thanks Cor-el. I asked because I don't see a link for something called Profile Manager. I've checked everywhere on all the tabs. I'm at a loss. BTW- not a single crash today.

Still crashing and everyone's gone silent...

Try to boot the computer in Safe Mode.

Starting up in Safe Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455

Already did that. It crashes in safe mode
