The 2012 (no camera on back) was the one that has Tegra 3.

The old flash 11.1 should work on Nexus 7 2013 if it has Android 4.x, however with Android 5.0 or Lollipop I am not sure.

Hi Supersadie

On my Nexus 7 2013 with flash player installed (installed prior to Android L, i.e. installed under KitKat) running Android Lollipop and Firefox 34, flash videos work.

At least this flash test video works:

Which flash video site isn't working for you Supersadie?

Please let us know and hopefully we can see if it works on my Nexus 7. If it works on my Nexus 7 and not on yours then we can debug further.

Cheers!

Wondering actually whether I have the 2012 version. There's only a front facing camera, so maybe mine is older. I can't get Demand5 and I think 4od might be scuppered too...

Photon looks like it should work for Demand5 - since I changed the location setting I got further along in the process but then thing just freezes; I can't even start 'play'so that could be a whole Lollipop messing up my system issue. Things are a lot worse since I stupidly 'up' (down) graded to that...

Thanks for your help

hi again supersadie

if your nexus 7 tablet doesn't have a rear facing camera then you have the nexus 7 2012.

Only the Nexus 7 2013 has a back camera. From:

http://androidadvices.com/nexus-7-2012-vs-nexus-7-2013-specs-features-pricing-info/

"Nexus 7 (2013) comes with the much better 5MP rear camera along with the 1.2MP front facing camera with different sensor and better performance clubbed with better image quality.

Nexus 7 (2012) was launched with only one camera at the front and had no rear camera at the back. It had come only with 1.2MP of Camera at the front. "

If I have time, I'll try upgrading my Nexus 7 2012 to Lollipop.

Please confirm you have Nexus 7 2012.

Yes- I have just the front facing camera so I guess I have 2012. Be careful with lollipop - it makes your Nexus laggy and crashy!
