why is google all over and running firefox, fox is set def browser
google is in 2 different places with search window, and when i put a site in the browser bar, say craigslist, hit enter or click on arrow. google brings up the results. set firefox as default in computer settings and browser settings. yet i see and get more from google than firefox, on everything. tried trouble shooting notes ect also. thanks

Hello,
Google is the default search engine when you install Firefox. You have the option of changing this in your search bar - either click the Google icon, or the down arrow and select a different search engine.

EDIT: When you change the search engine in the search bar, this will change all the other search bars in Firefox to use the new search engine - I am assuming in your post that the second place you saw Google was on the Firefox Start Page.
