Hi!

I am using a webbased email system. My swedish provider comhem has an webbased email that i log in through. When I click on the messages I want to see, I can only see the beginning of them. I can't scroll down to see the rest of the message while I am in there. I can do this in other webbrowsers, but not in yours. I have never had this problem before, but since the last time, or the time before that, I upgraded the browser this has become a problem. I love firefox, so I don't want to change to another browser! What do I do??? I have a screenshot of the issue, but I can't find anywhere to add it here.

Thanks! /Elenore

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, it didn't solve my problem. I have posted a picture for you to see. When I open one of my emails it does so in a reduced/smaller window. I can't scroll down in this smaller window to see the rest of the message. As you can see in the picture there are nothing on the side to the right that allows me to scroll down.

It just can't be done.. :/ It use to work before.. And it works in Explorer and others.

Does a scroll bar appear if you drag to border to make the window wider?

A possible but clumsy workaround --

Click in the text of the mail; Do 'Select all' [cmd-A in MacOS, ctrl-A in Windows] Do 'Copy', then paste into a word processor or text editor

Does the problem also affect new mails you compose? If not, you could compose a new mail and paste into it.

That is one way to do it, but i really don't want to have to do that every time I get an email. Takes forever and I really just want to solve the issue Thanks though! :)
