Can you see mail in your Yahoo Inbox if you view it in another browser, such as Internet Explorer?

If so, in Firefox, try the usual:

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache

Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.

Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Your Yahoo mail should still be stored on Yahoo's site. Could you try accessing it using this link (it should redirect to the server Yahoo prefers for your location):

http://mail.yahoo.com/

I'm not sure whether you can use both regular Yahoo mail accounts and AT&T Yahoo mail accounts at the same time. Possibly you might only be able to have one open at a time.

Do you mean your Inbox is emptied out?! I would contact Yahoo ASAP in that case.

I have the same problem. It's in a feed on my desktop. Removing cookies and the feed and reinstalling did no good. I also get the same problem on my android phone and different computers so it is not on my end. It gives an error 204. There is a link to the email but individual mails do not show up. This started after the last update.

Hi sickchuck, what do you mean by "It's in a feed on my desktop"?

This sounds like a problem on Yahoo's end, particularly with the combined My Yahoo page. Can you still use Yahoo mail directly by going through a link to Mail or using the general redirect https://mail.yahoo.com/ ?

it is the same as weather and news feeds. see picture under the error is a link put it does not show existing or new email as it as always been.

Hi sickchuck, thanks, I see now, it's a widget on your My Yahoo page.

Since this is a different issue from the one in the original post, could you start a new question about this?

To start a new question on this site, you can use this link: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/new/desktop/websites - scroll down past the article suggestions if the topics don't look helpful to continue with the form.

On Yahoo Answers, I see some active topics already, but no response from Yahoo:

But maybe if you contact Yahoo help directly that would provide some insight.
