Hi. The "Thought-Provoking Stories" are not loading on my Firefox home page. The heading is there, and it looks like Firefox is trying to load them, but they stay blurry. Anything I can do? I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

Since the settings haven't given that option for years, the best way to have a local file as the new tab page was using autoconfig.cfg + autoconfig.js, as described in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1251199 But since the most recent update (v136.0), this stopped working.

The New Tab Override add-on has its own issues with using local files (can only load a .html file, no local CSS/JS, can't give a blank address bar for me to search in), so it doesn't solve the issue either.

This is very important to me, and others have been asking for this feature back for years. It feels awful to have the working solution stop working, in the browser that's supposed to be open and customizable.

I WANT TO ADD YAHOO.COM TO MY HOMEPAGE . I ALREADY HAVE 6 OTHER ICONS THERE: AMAZON, GOOGLE, AOL, FOX NEWS, SMITHS FOODS, AND CHASE. HOW DO I ADD A 7TH TO MY HOMEPAGE? THANK YOU, LYNN STRATMAN

The icons on my home page suddenly became significantly reduced in size. Sure, I can tell what they are, and I've increased the text size for their identifiers below the icons. But they are now so small as to be not pleasing to the eye. How can I put them back the way they wuz?

How can I adjust my Pocket selections so that I never see another prompt for Darius Firoux? I am sick of seeing a link to his inane drivel keep popping up on my screen and having to dismiss it. What is the point of having suggestions presented to me if they are not only shit, but that I have to repeatedly tell you that they are shit and that I have no interest in reading that shit. Thanks.

I am using Firefox on my computer and have encountered a few issues:

1. When I delete all the website shortcuts, I am unable to add new website shortcuts. There is no option available to add them back.

2. When I use the "Unpin" option, the shortcut gets deleted completely, instead of just being unpinned. Ideally, the shortcut should remain available after unpinning.

I kindly request you to address these issues in an upcoming update so that users can have a smoother browsing experience.

Hey! Up until the last update, I used this code to set and focus a custom new tab page instead of its address bar (This should be a default feature, but what can you do...)

After the last update, focusing the new tab page's content is broken. Can anyone help me?

My home page has a Firefox image and the word "Firefox" at the top. That's new here, and I don't want it. It chews up too much real estate, but I can't find a way to get rid of it. Nothing in the Settings appearance choices affects it. It didn't used to be there. How do I get rid of it?

I would like Firefox's default homepage to automatically focus on the central search bar upon opening, similar to the behavior of the Google homepage rather than focus on the url/search bar.

I have been using google as my homepage forever and like how when i open the browser i can immediately start typing into the search field.

I recently started trying the Firefox homepage and i really like its speed and option to add some large thumbnail links/bookmarks. And the weather is a nice option.

Why bother having the search bar on the homepage if there is not option to make it active by default ?

This is a deterrent to me using the firefox homepage and i wish there was a fix for it.

after an update i couldn't ignore the now deadcentered firefox logo and wordmark and i can't stop being bothered by its sudden appierance. I looked into the settings and dissabled the EXCACT setting for this problem in the "about:config" going for the one with "wordmark" in the setting but its done nothing.

This morning I found a new page describing new "stuff" (curated news articles, etc.) and looked around - somehow I have "lost" the links on my landing page....how do I restore them? Thank you.

Customization:

I want to change the Microsoft desktop icons on shortcuts to a number of internet URLs. Unlike with other shortcuts, this is not possible with Firefox. Too many of the same icon are confusing. Seems to me it would be a simple and useful option.

My favourites link (blue star) has disappeared from the toolbar. I can find the favourites link by searching the computer but I don't know how to get it back on the toolbar.
