Can't connect to VPN

I ask since I dont use a VPN regularly and I know one of the famous uses for one is for streaming services for exclusive content in other countries. I would assume no that location changing like that wouldn't apply but I am curious and wanted to ask for anyone elses input on it

VPN does not connect to my new Apple computer. In the past, I have had to use the VPN link sent by Firefox
How do you know if VPN was downloaded and installed?
I turn the VPN on, when I am on a web page, if I turn it off on that page, will it still be protecting me?

the vpn is just not working, i get a message that i don't have an internet connection, but if i turn it off the website loads correctly.
So basicly the VPN doesnt turn on at all its just there.

tried it. says "get started", clicked and logged in, says login successful and vpn extension opens, but it still says "get started" and takes me to the signin page again … (மேலும் படிக்க)
