Hello. I cannot remove the suggestions that appear in the drop down address bar suggestions list. Shift-delete does not work. Changing the search settings in tools does not work. There is no three dots that appear next to the URL, or a pop up that shows up if I hover over the link. They are stubbornly embedded on that bar and refuse to leave.

The only thing that works is to delete all history, but I don't want to do that. There may be some solution where I micromanage site permissions on a site by site basis but that's way too much work, and should not have to do that.

The URLs on the list themselves are totally random. I cannot figure out how Firefox decided that THESE are the URLs to feature. I visited like once, in a long string of activity.

Anyway, my inability to perform a simple task like right-click-delete or demand that it "stop doing that" is making me claustrophobic.

Hello! When I set up my website restrictions on Mac Ventura (System Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Content Restrictions > Access to Web Content > Customize), Safari blocks my sites but Firefox does not.

From what I see (eg, this article ), Firefox should block the same sites. Am I wrong?

Why does my tool bar disappear after typing in website in search bar? Book marks appear when I open a new window, however as soon as I type something in the search bar or click on a website the book marks disappear. I have to open a new window for them to reappear again. I didn't change any settings, it happened on it's own. I've added a screen shot for when I open a new window (book marks appear) and a screen shot for when I've typed something in the search bar (book marks disappear). Thank you!

On what port does the firefox extension update on does it use port 21? I need the extensions to be auto updating like set and forget knowing that my firewall is not blocking the required port

My chrome extension is working fine and i want to make it compatible with Firefox as well. In the extension i have used eval method that is throwing error "EvalError: call to eval() blocked by CSP".

I also tried to add below configuration in the manifest 3 file but still getting the CSP issue. ('wasm-unsafe-eval' is also not working.)

Everytime I try to open Mozilla it automatically tries to download "openh264-win64-31c4d2e4a037526fd30d4e5c39f60885986cf865.zip" file, how to stop this ? TIA!!

Having issues with Firefox chugging too much memory, I have 32GB of RAM and in Taskmanager, memory usage can get up to 60% having Firefox open, this is also becoming an issue while trying to use other software or playing games as I get errors that there isn't enough memory when Firefox is running.

When opening some PDF's using 115, some or all of the text appears to be random characters. I downgraded to 114 and opened the same PDF, and the issue occurred in the same way. Can't upload the PDF itself using this form, but I've Attached a screenshot of a PDF and you'll see that some text is normal while other text is not.

Helpful details: - Issue does not occur when opening files in Chrome and Adobe. - On 115, disabling "allow pages to choose their own font" setting does fix the issue. However, this is not a permanent workaround for me, as I need other websites to display text normally (without Firefox overriding). - Downgrading to 114 also fixed the issue. This leads me to suspect that v115 has a bug, or some other issue that is causing this text problem to occur with PDFs. - The PDFs are created in Salesforce.com, but since the issue only occurs on v115, it's unlikely that Salesforce is the cause of any issues.

In my job, I open a lot of PDFs, and having them open in separate tabs on Firefox is a huge part of my workflow. Salesforce works so terribly with Chrome so I am crossing fingers that we can get Firefox working again. Any help is greatly appreciated!

This has happened to me too many times and haven't found a solution to it. When I open Firefox after I have booted up my PC, my browser would either function as normal and everything is kept the same, or would act as if I am new to Firefox and reset my settings and add-ons. I tried re-installing the browser and creating new browser profile, yet those solutions that I've found hasn't worked. Any solutions would be helpful, thanks

I use Dragon talk to text because I am unable to type. I need to install the Web extension and for some reason I have not been able to do it for several weeks now. it tells me it is blocked but I need it. Please help. Thank you.

Arggh! I had this box all filled out, but it vanished when I pasted the troubleshooting info. I see the troubleshooting info is gone, also. buggy So... I have a bookmarks folder, named "mobile bookmarks". It lists beneath "all bookmarks", alongside "other bookmarks", "bookmarks menu", and "bookmarks toolbar". I want to delete this "mobile bookmarks" folder, but the delete folder option is grayed out.

I've searched for this solution and all say "Click on the FireFox Button" which does not exist, so what is the real anser.

I never ever, as in "HELL FREEZING OVDEER" want anything in the windows default "Downloads" Directory, so need this solution ASAP!

My downloads must go to the "RIGHT" folder depending on the "TYPE" of download for I download things for 1.) Windows, 2.) Linux, 3.) Programs, 4.) Install Packages, 5.) Support Items, etc. so having the right files in the right place is essential, especially since all must "SYNV" with my LINUX server.

I am unable to scroll in the comments section of the NYTimes. The scroll bar does not show up. I can use the arrow key but only to a limited extent. I do not have this problem with Chrome. I get the Firefox updates regularly but it has not corrected the problem.

Hello, i need to enable and disable for privacy reasons, the setting "media.peerconnection.enabled" (aka WebRTC) via GUI to avoid to go everytime into about:config settings, search for the string, and double click it to disable or enable.

If is fleasible i prefer to add a custom icon in the customization tools bar windows, so i can drag it and move into the upper part of firefox freely (for example i would like to have it above url bar in the left corner, above the 3 lines application menù.

When I go to clear the cache, browsing history, cookies, etc. the only options we have are "Today", a few even smaller time periods (1, 2, 4 hours), or "Everything"! What's up with that? Every other browser offers at least the option of "past 7 days" or some other time period that goes further back than one day, without having to clear "Everything", don't others find this to be arbitrarily limited? I can't even delete cache from yesterday, much less a few days earlier...

I recently updated Firefox and have lost my passwords and bookmarks. i have visited the many pages to instruct how to go to a previous profile, but have been unsuccessful as I cannot locate some of the folders in the instructions.

Please advise.
