I have problem with endless cptchas -mostly on Facebook and now it began on my banking page - it used to verify via my phone- now it is constant captchas. When I use another browser- I do not have this issue. It is so annoying I may stop using Firefox. I'd much rather have google puzzle. The "no captcha" extensions do not work! I really prefer Firefox, but you need to stop with the captchas and use google puzzle or some other verification method.

Hello- Am having trouble with my settings( I think) Want to be sure Firefox is default browser, and use Adobe Reader as my PDF default. All I get is "download Firefox" ! Get all regular updates, so why can't I see "settings" ? Thank you

When I switch to Private Browsing mode, I still see the icon showing I'm logged into my account, and if I click it, it says it's still syncing and stuff. Why is my account even there in private browsing? The private browsing shouldn't even know I have an account, or even be able to be logged into an account at all, much less still be syncing. I shouldn't even be seeing that little icon at all.

I don't know what's happened but Firefox makes sites think I'm a bot. I keep being asked to verify I'm human, I tick the box, it spins and fails. I tick again, it fails. I have tried these sites on other browsers and it works so it's something going wrong in my Firefox. It happened after I loaded Protect My Choices and now even though I've disabled it, it doesn't work. I've amended to Standard in Privacy settings but that doesn't work either.

I am required by Instagram to give them my saved password that it has been long enough I don't recall it And because I have to be careful with giving Google back their access to my Gmail and taking over my phone again I'm reluctant to give them one but now they're using Instagram as reason to acquire my saved password they've been trying for some time with so many different tactics and I've been able to avoid them and now they're using Instagram as a instrument to acquire my saved password as it request and I am afraid of offering it to them because of them and Google

Multiple attempts to open Firefox produced a popup window indicating that "platform version 153.0 is not compatible with min version 152.0.6 max version 152.0.6 Maybe try to reinstall Firefox." If this is the only solution, how do I do this and retain my bookmarks, themes, etc profile? Thank you.

This problem has never happened before. This happened in the last few minutes. The whole screen suddenly went blank while I was trying to find out today's weather. I am suspicious of malicious interference with my computer. Any help you can give me will be reassuring.

the etrade bill pay summary page submit button will not work. instead displaying a red circle with a line through it. Etrade reports they are unaware of any problems. Last worked on 6/30/26. I tried all the general reccomendations. Have not tried edge yet, but that is my next move. I always use the private browsing setting for Etrade.

I updated my version to 153.0. The Bookmarks left panel was there. I did a CTRL+B, this one disapeared normal But once done I wanted to have my Boorkmarl left pannel back. So I did CTRL+B no Bookmark left pannel was displayed :-(

Firefox Desktop version 152 has a terrible homepage layout. Too much space is unusable, the huge logo can't be removed to save space, and the layout for bookmarks is a mess. I'm going to add 2 images taken from previous versions to show what I (and I'm sure many other users) would like to see.

Mozilla developers really need to fix this problem.

I've been using kelly blue book to research new cars. Yesterday it would load the vehicle information, but when I click on the blue box "see pricing" it just reloads this page. Has worked fine for the past week or more, but yesterday started doing this?

A website I user, www.advisor.ca, displays a banner across the top which obscures some of the text in Firefox but displays correctly in Chrome. The attached images are for the page https://www.advisor.ca/tax/tax-news/court-dismisses-challenge-to-cras-administration-of-cap-gains-tax-proposal/. I expect this is one of those things that Chrome does 'wrong' but I would like to know if there is something I can do to make it display correctly in Firefox, of if FF could handle it in some manner.

VPN is on. I can't access the internet. Error message is either: An error occurred during a connection to www.thewindowsclub.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Or: Connect to the internet You're offline. Check your connection.

I've googled the issue but it talks about ports and tunnels and going into settings. I've looked in the VPN Mozilla settings and there only seems the option to either include or exclude a website from the VPN. Nothing about different ports and testing. I've already written this message once but the VPN was on so it disconnected the internet and I lost this message! Trying a 2nd time now without the VPN

Any help? Or should I give up with it?

This is a recent problem but when I try to open new tabs they don't load or take a very long time to load. I wind up shutting down my computer and resarting but sometimes that doesn't help. it seems to be getting worse. I do not use any other VPN but yours and Duckduckgo to search. I use a macbook air. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have the VPN from Firefox and I have chosen United States for location. Do I now simply search (google or whatever engine) or is there something else thhat I am missing?
