I then received a message that this email address was already in use. Perhaps I once registered with this email address, but I no longer remember the password. I changed my primary AND secondary emails of my Mozilla account (in Firefox' settings), as the old one was part in many data leaks. When accessing the account settings in Firefox, all is well. BUT coincidentally, after activating Mozilla Monitor, I saw that my OLD email is STILL saved on the settings page of www.mozilla.org/de/newsletter/existing/?fxa=1 (see screenshots).
Also, when trying to login using the DELETED, old email (bum*******.de), Mozilla tells me "must use primary email to login", meaning, they still didnt really remove that one!
Why is it still there and why didnt Mozilla change it?? I want it GONE!

I would like to change my primary email on the account and my profile shows that there is currently no secondary email. I keep inputting a secondary email address that I could then reset to be the primary but Firefox keeps responding that the proposed secondary email is already confirmed by another user.
The proposed secondary email is under my full control and it would not be confirmed as a secondary email for anyone else. While attempting to solve this mystery, I did attempt to sign in under the proposed secondary email. I thought that if I were successful, I could close out that account. Unfortunately, while it appeared to accept the email address and a password saved on my hard drive, I also received an error message that said that I needed to sign in under the primary email.
The purpose for all of this is that I am changing to a new computer, will want to operate it without the old primary email address, and want all of my settings and history from the old computer to transfer over. Please advise. Thanks.
