saving jpeg photos to file

Firefox won't save photos as jpegs, rather it saves as firefox docs

When I right click a photo and choose "save as image as", Firefox saves the image as a Firefox document, not a jpeg as it used to.

I can, however, save the photo as a jpeg if I right click,go to psge sourse and save as which becomes burdensome if saving many photos.

Any ideas how to make Firefox save photos as jpeg files by default?
